The establishing objective of the Institute is to research and examine political, social, demographical, economical and cultural situations of the Republic of Turkey and the communities of Turkic origin which live outside of Turkey’s borders both in neighboring countries and not neighboring countries.

To educate professional personnel who will work on aforementioned fields.

To hold symposia, conferences, seminars on these fields and to report these activities to concerned authorities in case of need.

To give education about Turkish culture, history, language, literature and art in graduate level; to make students obtain master and doctorate; to expand research staff and to train teaching personnel.
